The DeKalb CUSD 428 Board of Education unanimously votes to approved the contract to appoint Billy Hueramo as superintendent, effective July 1, 2026.

Following an extensive and rigorous national search, the DeKalb Community Unit School District 428 Board of Education announces that Billy Hueramo has been selected as the finalist candidate for the position of Superintendent of Schools.
